    Department/Role Support Needed:

    • Billing Department Intern

    Tasks/Responsibilities:

    • Assisting with billing. VA billing: processing claims, ensuring timely reimbursement, minimizing denials, resolving billing discrepancies, faxing care notes, and maintaining compliance.

    Preferred Skills/Tools:

    • Medical billing, knowledge of CPT and ICD10 codes, computer literacy, attention to detail.

    Hours & Format:

    • Part time 

    Any Special Requirements or Preferences:

    • Medical billing/coding student preferred.

    Hours & Format:

    • Part-time:; flexible scheduling Monday–Friday between 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Support general administrative & compliance tasks, including filing, labeling, scanning, uploading, & maintaining both physical and digital records

    • Assist with training documentation, data entry, and keeping profiles up to date

    • Help plan and prepare for in-person training sessions by organizing materials, setting up supplies, and providing on-site assistance as needed

    • Track attendance, manage rosters, and support follow-up communication related to training participation and certification status

    • Contribute to the creation of visual aids, handouts, and presentations

    • Assist with event coordination for caregiver trainings or community outreach, including preparing materials and supporting logistics

    • Respond to and track training-related inquiries from caregivers or staff, helping ensure timely follow-up and accurate information sharing

    Required Skills:

    • Applicants must be comfortable using Google Workspace (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Gmail), Microsoft Office (especially Outlook), and Canva at a basic level. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to learn new programs quickly are essential, as is general comfort with electronics and technology in a fast-paced, professional environment.

    Requirements / Preferences:

    • Applicants must be CORI-clearable and demonstrate strong organization, reliability, and a willingness to learn. An interest in education, healthcare, healthcare education, or administrative support is essential. Bilingual abilities (Spanish or Portuguese) are a plus but not required. While applicants aged 18+ are preferred, we will consider students aged 16+ for a Summer 2026 internship opportunity.

    We are a private healthcare organization serving residents within independent senior living communities. Our goal is to deliver personalized care and wellness services that allow seniors to age in place while building trusted relationships with residents, families, and community partners.

    Role Overview:

    We are seeking a proactive and people-oriented Community Liaison Intern to support our outreach and communication efforts. This intern will play a key role in fostering resident engagement, strengthening community partnerships, and enhancing the visibility of our services.

    Department/Role Support Needed:

    • Marketing & Community Engagement

    • Operations & Administrative Support

    Tasks & Responsibilities:

    • Assist in planning and promoting community events for residents and families

    • Create and distribute flyers, newsletters, and social media content to promote services and events

    • Support the coordination of wellness visits and informational sessions

    • Help maintain and update community contact lists and event calendars

    • Represent the HomeCare Hands at resident gatherings or events, ensuring positive engagement

    • Gather and relay feedback from residents and families to improve services

    • Assist with light administrative tasks, including data entry and outreach tracking

    Preferred Skills & Tools:

    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

    • Canva or other design tools (for flyers/newsletters)

    • Microsoft Office (especially Word, Excel, and Outlook)

    • Google Drive (Docs, Sheets, Calendar)

    • Experience with or interest in social media content creation (Facebook, Instagram)

    • Familiarity with CRM tools or EMR systems is a plus (training available)

    Hours & Format:

    • Part-Time: 20-25 hours/week

    • In-Person (Required)

    • Flexible weekday schedule, occasional weekend event support (as needed)

    Special Requirements or Preferences:

    • Students pursuing degrees in Marketing, Communications, Public Health, and Healthcare

    • Administration, or Gerontology preferred

    • Must enjoy engaging with seniors and working in a people-focused environment

    • Work independently within a team

    • Must pass a background check and health clearance

    • Strong customer service mindset and professional demeanor

    Tasks/Responsibilities:

    • Help prepare and organize care notes, meeting minutes, and weekly reports

    • Support recruitment activities (posting job ads, screening applicants, scheduling interviews)

    • Participate in training sessions and help track attendance/compliance

    • General administrative support: data entry, filing, and organizing client/caregiver information

    Preferred Skills/Tools:

    • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

    • Google Drive/Docs/Sheets

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills

    • Strong Customer Service Skills

    Hours & Format:

    • Part-time (10–15 hours per week)

    • Hybrid (in-office support preferred with some flexibility for remote tasks)

    • Interest in healthcare, human services, or business administration
